James, Julanne and Don report that the ride to the microwave tower was good, they rode up the Elk trail Route - Skimpy snow down low but 4-6 inches of fluff up higher. Sounds like a good day on the snow.

The Strawns met up with the Rays in Leavenworth for some fun in and around Sugarloaf.

Snowmobile season is well on it’s way….keep up those snow dances!

Presidents Day Ride in the Methow

Saturday Feb. 18th riding the North Cascades Highway and Sunday the 19th ride from Winthrop to Conconully. Ben Ray will be the tour guide for the weekend. Some of us will be staying in Winthrop, there are several hotels. Hope to see you there!

January 28th 17 of us had a great ride in the Clockum, roasted hotdogs, rode 40 miles in the sun, snow and even freezing rain! We all had a good time.

We backed things up to hoping for more snow because right now. We got none.

All you snow dancers, get with it. We need you.

Remember if you are parking at the Lily Lake Snow Park a Washington State Discover Pass is required.

Community Service: Hwy Clean up

One of the club’s traditions is the highway litter clean up project. This Saturday, November 5th 2011 we will leave the Cafe in the Rock Island truck stop about 8:00 AM. They serve a good breakfast so come early if you want to eat. The project is South on HWY 28.Be sure to bring gloves and sturdy shoes.

Don Eckis ( doneckis@hei.net ) is our coordinator and will arrange safety vests and hard hats. The DOT will provide plastic bags and pick up after us.

Request for Volunteers for WSSA Expo

Faith Gallatin- WSSA Expo Volunteer Coordinator

It is that time again! planning for the WSSA Expo is in progress and your help is needed.

Expo is October 15-16 2011 at the Puyallup Fairgrounds.

1. By volunteering for a minimum of two (2) two-hour shifts (totaling 4 hours), you will recieve free enterance to Expo for the entire weekend!

2. Deadline to volunteer is Sept. 30th
